Our Story

In 1988 The Perkins Family was formed, a ministry that would span over two decades singing songs, that combined with the anointing, would garner hit after hit. With songs like “In His Time” and "When It's My Time" sitting in the Singing News charts for 14 straight months, “Across the Bridge” climbing all the way to number 5, as well as their first Top 40 hit “What a Wonderful Day” the list goes on and on! While winning numerous awards and being nominated for many others, including a Top 5 Dove Nomination, The Perkins Family became a household name. Along with Paul David and Carolyn, Ricky also shared the stage with his mother Evelyn Perkins. Mrs. Perkins would become the driving factor each member would lean on.

Today, they are thrilled to bring that same rich family heritage to you as Perkins Revival. Along with Chestin Riley - lead, David Riley - baritone, Johny Washburn - bass, tenor Ricky Perkins is more than excited to carry the torch his family lit so many years ago. As part of groups like The Statesmen, The Stamps Quartet, Masters V, The Southmen Quartet, Rabbit Easter Band, Exalted, Appointed, The Lamar Sego Family, Delegation, Gold City Quartet and of course The Perkins Family, the men of Perkins Revival are no stranger to Gospel Music.  With over 100 years combined in ministry, Perkins Revival still feels that fire burning to stand and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
